Meet the Dirty Dog Grooming Mitt

One mitt, two sides. Rubber nubs on one side lift loose hair and dirt. Dirty Dog microfiber on the other dries and wipes. It slips on your hand, so it feels like petting your dog, not grooming them.

How It Works

The rubber side is covered in soft, flexible nubs. As you stroke your dog, they grab loose hair and dirt from the coat without pulling, and the motion doubles as a massage.

Flip it over and you're working with the same advanced microfiber blend as the Dirty Dog Doormat.

Most microfiber pet mitts and towels use polyester alone. Polyester dries fast, but it resists water, so it moves moisture around more than it absorbs it.

The Grooming Mitt adds polyamide, a microfiber that attracts water and holds roughly ten times more mess than polyester. Polyester gives the mitt strength and quick drying; polyamide pulls water and dirt out of the coat and into the mitt. It's also softer and more resilient, so the fibers stay plush wash after wash.

The microfiber side is made at 1500 GSM with 50% more microfiber strands; some competing mitts are as low as 300 GSM. That density lets it absorb up to 8X its weight in water and dry your dog up to 8X faster than a cotton towel.

How to Use and Care

1. Slip the mitt onto your hand.
2. Stroke along the coat with the rubber side to lift loose hair and dirt.
