Meet the Dirty Dog 3-in-1 Car Seat Cover and Hammock

A full back-seat cover with the Dirty Dog Doormat's microfiber where your dog lies, a waterproof back and hammock everywhere else, and a split design that lets people ride in back too.

How It Works

The seat is Dirty Dog microfiber, the same advanced microfiber behind the original Dirty Dog Doormat. It pulls water, mud and drool off your dog and into the fiber instead of letting it sit on the surface, and its thick, soft strands give your dog a comfortable place to settle in.

The back rest and hammock are quilted, waterproof Oxford fabric. Water beads up and wipes away, so nothing soaks through to your upholstery.

The hammock clips to the front headrests and closes the gap between the seats, so your dog stays in back. A zipper splits it down the middle, so you can drop one side for a passenger and keep the other side up.

Four snap buckles and two seat anchors that tuck into the seat crease hold everything in place. Hook-and-loop openings let seat belts and car harness tethers pass straight through.

The current generation is built with heavier stitching and hardware, made to stand up to big, rambunctious dogs.

Three Ways to Set It Up

• Full hammock: the whole back seat becomes your dog's space, closed off from the front.
• Split hammock: unzip one side so a passenger can ride in back while your dog keeps the other.
• Bench cover: drop the hammock and use it as a simple seat cover.

How to Use and Care

1. Lay the cover across the back seat with the microfiber side up.
2. Buckle the straps around the rear headrests, and push both seat anchors into the crease between the seat and back rest.
3. Clip the hammock straps to the front headrests. Unzip one side if a passenger is riding in back.
4. Thread seat belts or harness tethers through the hook-and-loop openings.
5. Shake out the microfiber after muddy trips. Machine wash in cold water when needed; skip bleach and fabric softener, and hang to dry.
